A part of our department's mission is to conduct agricultural economics research that benefits the citizens of the State of Arkansas, the U.S. and the world. Both undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to become involved in research and to expand upon their educational experience. 
Cooperative Extension ServiceSince 1905 some form of Extension educational work has occurred in Arkansas. We are part of the U of A Division of Agriculture. With offices in all 75 counties, our faculty and staff provide educational programs and research-based information to the people of Arkansas. 
Decision Support SoftwareDesigned by a team led by Michael Popp, the Decision Support Software page contains a variety of software tools to assist producers with an array of factors and needs. This page includes downloadable software, reference/user manuals, and other resources. 
Southern Risk Management Education CenterThe Southern Risk Management Education Center (SRMEC) was established at the U of A Division of Agriculture in 2009 and is one of four regional Extension Risk Management Education Centers located throughout the country. |

Research Note: As part of our team’s commitment to land value research and education programs, we have collaborated with Acres to access needed data. Acres (acres.com) is a valued collaborator with our university, providing essential data and software tools for research and teaching with emphasis on agricultural and rural property transactions and land evaluations.
