The Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness has been a part of the University of Arkansas since 1925. The University of Arkansas is the flagship research university in Arkansas. Fayetteville’s close proximity to some of the largest employers in the nation, such as Walmart, Tyson Foods, and J.B. Hunt, allows for unique internship and networking opportunities for students.

The Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (AEAB) in Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences strives to provide an unparalleled collegiate experience, educating students intellectually and interpersonally so that they may empower their community through professional and civic works. To that end, AEAB makes noteworthy strides in research to improve the quality of life for the local community and the world.
