Internships in Agribusiness
There are great internship opportunities for our students. In recent years, students have had more than 30 internships with organizations such as Ag Heritage Farm Credit Services, Armor Seed, Cargill, Continental Grain and Barge (CGB), Crop Production Services, Excel Energy Group, Fastenal, Griffin Grain Inc., Helena Chemical Company, Hershey, Kdent Inc., Little Rock Fence Co. Inc., New Holland, Polytech Plastic Molding, Real Estate by Design Group, Sunset Produce, The Andersons Inc., The DeLong Company, Tractor Supply Company, Tyson Foods, U.S. Senator John Boozman (Spitze Intern), and U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (Spitze Intern).
Students can apply for internships from organizations and offices that contact our department, or they can construct their own by seeking business, legislative or environmental policy internship opportunities. All internships are paid. In addition, these pre-professional positions provide opportunities for networking. If the intern performs well and the organization has permanent job vacancies, the intern will be in a very strong position to compete for one of them. Internship opportunities for students are listed below. If a date follows the internship opportunity, it refers to the date by which all application materials must be received.
